Visitor Visa Stay Duration

Hi Murali/Simran, my parents got a 10 year multiple entry visitor visa, during their interview, they had mentioned they would be visiting me for 3 months, but now I am planning to have them here for 4 months, just wanted to know, if there would be any issue in this at POE.

hi there,
It does not really matter, their length of stay is determined at the port of entry when their I-94 gets stemped,Usually it is a stay of 6 months.
So be cool!

I understand that, but my question is, when an officer at POE asks them, how long you want to stay here & when they answer 4 months, but officer can figure out from the data submitted earlier during application that they requested for only 3 months, does that contradiction become an issue or its just okie..

It won't be a problem. They can go ahead and say they want to stay for 4 months.
