Hi Friends,
I am staying in the US and was interested to get my parents here on visitor visa. This would be their first attempt. i had a few questions in mind.
1. Both me and Brother(2 siblings of my parents) are in the US with our Wives. could this cause a problem during the interview. IF so and asked for during the interview kindly suggest what should we reason out to get away from this question.
2. i have taken the bank statement from US and plan to get the visa processed next month. is there a validity for the bank statement.
3. Will language preference other than english help? i have heard people telling that they scrutinize the applicants if an indian language is chosen as preference.
4. My parents are retired will this be a problem.
kindly clarify these questions, any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank You
Regards,
Saneen

1. No problem, the key thing is the interview and your parents should be able to demonstrates that the intension is tourism and they will come back.

2. Any documents less then 60 days old is good.

3. I would say, take the language in which they can communicate well, whether English or native.

4. No its not.
