Advice on the affidavit

My parents are going to appear for the visa interview in the next month.
1.Do my parents need to provide separate affidavits for the property or a single affidavit will do for both of them.

2.why i am asking this is all the properties are on my mother's name only.will that be a problem to my father in getting the visa of not having anything on his name.
