Need Info about travel on visitor visa expiring soon

My parents got visa about 4.5 years ago. My Father was given 10 years Visa while my mom got only 5 years visa (expiring in Sept'2008) . They visited US once after receiving the visa. I want to call them again this summer. If I call them in June . Will they be able to stay here for 6 months?

I am worried if my mom's visa expiration date will be a limiting factor in getting visa for more than 3 months?

I am new to the forum, if there exists some info in the forum, please send me the pointer.

I appreciate any help in this regard.

well actually the thing is if they already have visa then they just need to book tickets and cum.At the port of entry the immigration officer will stamp the form i94..which they generally do for six months but in ur mothers case ..her visa is valid till sep08...and if they arrive in june then she can't stay for 6 months...so there r two options...either they cum early...say six months pior to sep08 or ur mom tries for extension of VISA..for which u check the Us embassy site....
