Hi,

My parents Visa got rejected today, I still don't have complete details,

I am gussing the reason could be, family ties in India and Anual income,

My father does not own a property in India and he is retired and draws a pension (about 1 lakh per year) and has a bank deposit about 5 lakh

but I do own a house in India in which they are staying,( worth about 25 lakhs)

My question, if I have to re-apply,

How can I make my case better,
How much time does one need to wait before reapply
can we re-apply in Delhi Consulate

Any suggestions are welcome, Also, my only brother is in Englad doing his MBA

Thanks

Wait till you get more details and analyse the entire situtaion and prepare for the next accordingly.
There is no limit on how many times one can apply so you can aply again and again, the general guidlines says that there has to be atleast 3 days gap in next application.

My parents visa rejected under section 214(b)

My father is a retired person and draws a pension about Rs 6500 and he also has other income from fixed deposit worth about 5 laks.

We have a house worth about 25 laks but it is in my name, and my only brother is studing in England.

We are planning for his marriage next year,

how we can we make our case to show the ties back in India when we re-apply

ofcourse my father has lot of friends and relatives.

Thanks
Akumar

Mr AKumar,

Please analyse everything before you apply again. Don't apply in a haste like I did for my parents.

Best Wishes

Thanks Delhi,

Yes, I know, but I think it is only mater of luck these days, I could not conclude any logic based on the rejection and approvals consulate is making.

How can we convince that our parents will never stay back in US at any cost

AKumar,

Section 214(b) is a very general thing. Try to get a word to word account from your parents, of the questions asked by the officer. Think about every question and the answer your parents gave. You should try to find (I know it is almost impossible) what went wrong.

All said, I personally think that its just a matter of confidence shown by the parents which matter most. And good confidence level can only be achieved only by preparing them well.
