Simran/Murali please help - Multiple H1B stampings

I already have a h1 visa valid for last year, but I am unable to go with it for some personal reasons. So I want to apply for a different h1 this year from another company. So I want to know is it feasible for me to get another stamping without any issues? I would like to know

- Will the previous visa get canceled automatically, when I go for the new visa stamping, irrespective of whether I recieve the new visa or not?
or
- Will the previous visa get canceled automatically, when I recieve the new visa only?
or
- Can I have both the h1b visas valid at the same time?

I am currently in India, and did not land in the US on my previous H1.

defn a Q will be raised why u didn't join ur H1 company.
u can have any number of H1's but at a time u can work for 1 H1 (fulltime).
