Friends,
Does anyone has any experiance taking a bigger TV to India? Is it possible and practical? Bought 2-3 years back. Any problems with Custom. How much will Airlines allow?
Please share your experiances.

You are not telling how you would like to take it, as per my idea it is not worth. Wondering what option made you in TV take to india bro.Input plugs and supply power are differs there is no gurantee for long time.

One of my friend recently took a 32 inch LCD Flat TV to India. And he was having a Sony TV, and all Sony products usually has input range from 110v-220v. So almost most of the Sony Tvs are usuable in India, and LCD tvs are very expensive in India, compared to here.

Whats the feedback from your friend does it work in india ?.What about the cable broadcasts in PAL in india as compared to NTSC in the US?Does the TV take care of that too?
It would be interesting to know.

if it does not work then atleast it can be used as a computer monitor.
