I am planning to sponsor for my parents travel VISA to us. Is it the income tax returns is mandatory document as i dont have the document. If that is the case, what is the procedure. Any idea???

You should have the W2 form. Also it depends whether VO asks for the income tax papers, if you are lucky they may not ask for this.
