hello, my girlfriend is flying from austria to the us to visit me for 2 months. Her plane ticket is for 2 months, ending in february. Our question is, if she is only planning on staying for 2 months does she need to use her b1/b2 visa to get in or can she get in under the visa waiver program. We don't know if we will be able to, but we might want to rebook her flight home so we would like to have the option of extending her stay to 3 months. I have heard that if you enter on a b2 for less than a 6 month stay they will give you a needed time for departure that cannot be easily altered. So can she come in under the visa waiver program, or would that look bas since she has a b1/b2 visitor visa. Which should she use for a possible 3 month stay if her return ticket is in two months?
