Hai Buddies....
Finally I got the Visa on 13th(Thursday)of this month.
First Of All Thanks To Path2usa.com site, because this site is very great and helpful site, those are waiting for the H1 B Visa....Really I am very happy with
this site.
And Thanks to all those are posted their views and experiences which helped a lot to me.
Coming to interview part Actually I have booked my interview on 28th of december. But after that I have changed my booking date which is 28th to 13th. According to that date I went to chennai on 11th that is on tuesday.
For staying in lodgings (or) guest house, it is very tough to get the room. because this month is very peek time. So arrange the things before going to interview. And I stay in a Guest house at rayapeth which 5min journey to US Consulate by auto.
Those are attending the interview coming days....Am giving the address of guest house, which very good one and nice one.
Address:
Studio Guest House
#15, Peters Road, Royapeth,Near Masopet Market, Chennai.
And I have taken complete rest on 12th december.
And morning I went to consulate at 8:30am as per my interview time 10am.
At the consulate...
It is very heavy rough, and lots of applicants are awaiting for the interview. The security people allows me into consulate at 9:40am.
Steps:
1. Out side security people will ask your appointment letter and passport.(so be ready with your passport & appointment letter by hand)
2. After entering inside, again the security will check your folders and belongings and sealed covers. ( So do not take any mobile phone, electronic items and others except your folder which contains your documents)
3. After checking, just move forward to VFS Section. here they will check So papers and they will arrange your papers finally they will give one folder which contains all imp docs. (Here be ready with you DS-156, DS-157, Interview letter, Yellow HDFC Receipt, Passport, I797, I129 and LCA)
4. After that moving to next building for finger printing and as well as interview part.
Here first they will take your left index and right index scanning. they your supposed to stand in a line for your interview)
Make sure that while your in line for the interview, do not bend your body and do not talk with others and do not observe VO's just you keep on eye on applicants how they are giving answers.)
The above steps for those are attending the interview at chennai consulate.
And coming to my interview part..it was so surprising to me...because i was so tensed about my interview. but my interview it's all around less than 1 minute.
My interview went like this
me: Hai, How R You....
VO: Great, Give me your folder
Me: I passed the folder
He taken out the passprt and he scanned my passport then
VO: How long your working with the current company?
Me: I answered
VO: Tell me about your project.
Me: Explained:
The He Said Golden Words To Me...
Ur Visa is granted, you will get the visa with in week's time.
Then
I said, Thanks and Have a Nice Day
So please do not tense for your interview, be COOL....
Most of the users are telling , to get the visa at chennai-it's bit of tough.
But beleive me
If you have confidence...it is not at all that much big deal to get the visa.
because even i also worried about my visa before interview.
One thing you carry for interview...
ONLY YOUR CONFIDENCE
that's is enough to get the visa.
confidence is mandatory and documents are secondary....
So Be Cool
