changing form b1 visa to h1

actuall i came here to usa on business visa(b1) after 15days i got my h1 approval now can i change my status from b1 to h1 in this case for to getting visa.immediately i need to go back to india or here it self can i change my status or after one or two years when ever i visit india i should stamp there.my visa validation period is 2004 to 2007.
CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ME WHATS MY STATUS WILL BE

You need visa stamped only if you are travelling out of usa. If you re-enter usa you need your h1b status visa stamped. as you r getting the h1b visa stamped first time you have to go to your home country to get it. it can be now or after three years but your stamping can only be done in your home country and that is safe also.

If you dont plan to visit to india, just be cool and do your job.
