I got a 221g asking for more docs when I went for my H1 stamping. My petitioner is yet to provide those docs and hence I may not be pursuing it anymore.
Meanwhile I have a chance to attend L2 visa interview. Since now I am more keen on getting L2, how should I answer the following questions?

1. Do you intend to work in US?( I could since L2 allows to work)

2. Are you going to pursue your H1?( I might, if I am able to get L2, thru COS)

3. If you dont want to pursue your H1, can I cancel the petition?(I dont want the petition to be cancelled as I can try for COS)

4. Are you going to quit your current job in India?(actually yes, but if I say so does it cause a doubt that this person will try to find a job in US. If I say no, then I would need some kind of a leave certificate from my current company, right? which wont be possible)

I am confused as to how I need to answer, please provide some suggestions as to what would be the optimal answers.

Shouldn't be a problem.

I had a 221g when I went for my L1 visa interview recently. The VO took an affidavit from me stating that I won't pursue my H1 petition anymore. Probably, the same might happen to you too.
