Dear Seniors,

Please let me know that which docs are required at POE? which type of question will be asked by IO?????

I got H1B visa alongwith H4 of my wife and child. I had mentioned in my DS 156 form that i will travel with my wife and child but i m not going with them. will it create any problem????

Please help me out?????

You need to carry all your original certificates (though they may not ask). Also, have in hand an offer/employment letter from your employer which is not older than 3 months. In my case, the Officer at POE asked for a copy of I-129, Original I-797 and employment/offer letter from employer.

I don't think they'll care about your wife and children. If they ask, tell them there was a change in the plan and they'll join you later.

When i entered the united states no body asked me a single question, but still i wud recommend u to carry along ur I-797,I-129 and offer letter and if possible ur company brochure, ur employer's address, the place where u gonna stay in the US and his (employer's) contact number, thats it.
