Minor surgical work without medical insurance...

Hi, my mom visiting from India does not have medical insurance. A few days ago she had a cut in her hand that required a few stitches, which was done at a hospital in Edison, NJ. For removing the stitches, does anyone have recommendation on community hospitals or doctors in the NJ area who can do the procedure at a reasonable price?

Contact any local community organization, like your local temple etc they may have some vol. Drs. serving to community.

I have a silly question: Do we still have stiches where you have to remove them? I am really not sure and hence asking. Please find this out for yourself and for us too. I am only aware of the stiches which disolve automatically. Infact I think in India too these days that kind of medical technology is used. Please call the doctor who did the initial stichtes and ask.
