h1b transfer - without paystubs [Archive]

here is my scenario -

i just got in the US this october-3-2007 and have not yet received any job assignments from my sponsor company. technically, i am currently on bench and have not yet received any form of payment from my employer.

i got an offer from another company and they want to transfer my H1B. they have already found a good assignment for me.

can i transfer without any paystub? my new company wants to do so this week.

You can transfer your H1 without paystub within first 15 days of Oct..because that is when you get your first pay.Anytime after Oct 15th can be done with paystub only.

Hi,
I'm also in the same situation with slight change. I have paystubs from May 15th to Oct 15th 2007. I do not have Oct 31st Pay stub since my project got completed on Oct 15. Please let me know how early I have to transfer my H1 with another company.

u r fine to do transfer, but file it ASAP if possible with in a week.

Thanks for the reply Simran. But I'm still searching for a job and its already 25 days since I got my last pay stub. Please advice me what I can do now.
