pls seniors help me in 221g green handout.

I got 221g green asking for more supporting documents.
I want to know how much time it requires for clearing the 221g.

hey dont worry ... you will get the visa. its just a matter of time..once you submit all the required documents they would verify and when they are satisfied that everything is genuine they will tell you to submit the passport for stamping.
It may take anytime between 4 weeks to 8 weeks after you submit the documents...all the best.

Hi All,
I went for my H1B interview on 3rd OCT and was handed the Blue 221g doc asking for project and client details from my petitioner.
At the interview the VO asked me whether I will be at the Client Project of Inhouse Project.

As adviced before the interview by my consulting company I told the VO that as per discussion with my prospective employer they have multiple employees working at various client sides like JP Morgan Chase,Fannie May etc.Upon approval of my visa they will be allocating me the project.
After hearing this answer the VO gave me the blue 221 g and ticked the section for the follwoing docs:--

>Copy of contract between the US employment agency and the job site.

>A letter from the personnel dept. at the US job site stating that there is a vacancy for you.

>The applicants complete itinerary of services including company names and addresses.


When I consulted my Consulting company they said that they had a discussion with their lawyer and they have prepared a strong letter mentioning that they are employing me as their permanent employee and i will be working at their office for a inhouse project.They forwared me the letter and it had all the details for the project and it looks convincing.
But at the interview I mentioned about client project though I also told that I will be allocated to a project after my visa approval.
SO I am not sure if my consulting company now submits this inhouse project email will it send mixed signals to the US embassy.

The embassy has asked me to drop my passport along with the docs.Also would like to know the waiting period after submitting the docs.

Me also Got the same 221 (G). But its a White paper. They said me attend interview again with those documents without any appointment. Once I attend the interview along with 221(g) documents they willl give the visa on same date or they willl do any verification.

Pls advice.

its really great to see every one helping each other in clarifying their doubts and their there issues.

I need a clarification regarding my issuance of 221(g) blue form

i recently had my visa interview at Chennai, its was going on very well for some time,,
mine was a client project ,, in the interview process the VO had a very close look at my project details. she said she was not at all satisfied with the project description and asked me to ask my employer to send the project description in detail.

she issued me a 221(g) blue form with all the docs listed from the petitioner.

I had all the required docs with me , i told her i have all the docs marked in 221(g) , she said to drop all the docs. with the detailed project description and not to drop the passport and said she will get back to me when to drop the passport.

i had a talk with my employer ,, he gonna send the doc. in a short period.

she asked me to drop all the docs. listed in the column FROM THE PETITIONER in 221(g) including oroginal I-797 + I-129 + LCA with DS 156 & DS 157.

so my doubt is what is like my verification about .., whether its about
1. additional information
2. Administrative process
3. or any thing else

she did not say any thing except ,, we need a detailed description about the project details and issued the form 221(g) blue

just submit the docs what VO had asked along with 221(g) including original I-797 + I-129 + LCA with DS 156 & DS 157.
Its upto u if u want to send passport or not. If they are satisfied with the docs they will contact u to send ur PPT.
