hi friends my case status at uscis is as fallow

Before to this first it was given(shown) as below
Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.
On august 6 , 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. and i dindnt recieved any documents from my petetioner when i asked him he said dat he hasnt received my I-797(approval notice) and he said me to wait till he get the approval letter.
so plz help dat was my i-797 was issued or it is in still delay as of status showed by the uscis plz
so still how many days should i wait for my approval letter bcoz they allready mentioned dat decision has been mailed to my petetioner.
plzzzzzzzzzzzzz i kindly request the seniors to help me in regarding asap
