Rescheduling vistor visa appointment

Hi

I have arranged for my parents' visitor visa interview at Delhi on 25 Oct. But I would not be able to send in my H1 renewal petition by then and so wud wanna postpone the interview date by a couple of weeks.

But what I am not clear abt is
1. What is the minimum no. of days before the original interview date that I could reschedule the appointment ? I mean say for an example, is it that I have the option of rescheduling until 2 days before 25 Oct or 5 days before 25 Oct or so on.

2. What is the procedure to reschedule the appointment ?


Have always found the prompt solutions here,a nd hope for the same this time around too. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Murali, I did contact VFS and I've been notified that now the reschedule option has been removed from the VFS website.So, we'd have to cancel ou existing appointment before making a new one.
And we are permitted to cancel teh appointment until 2 business working days prior to the scheduled appointment date.
This is just for info for anyoen who might be looking for this.
