Hi

We are expecting baby and so started processing visa for my parents. My parent's visa was rejected on oct 3rd there were only three questions

Questions were about my father's profile and income and the reason given was My Father who is an applicant does not have enough income for international travel, I had enough supporting document of my financial situation and they never heard that its me who is sponsoring.

Does anyone heard of such a reason for refusal before? Can someone give me a suggestion on how to proceed further to get the visa

And is it advisable to apply for visa immediately or to wait for few months?

Chandu,

I saw your experience message, my parents were asked the same question and was rejected, Is there any constraint on how much the Annual income should be? Please let me know how much ur father said if you dont mind.

If the trip is 100% sponsored by you, there is no need for them to show any income. May be the consular did not see or hear it properly.

I would say when he goes next time, in your letter to consulate, clearly mention why it was rejected the first time and request them to issue the visa since the trip is entirely sponsored by you(including tickets/insurance/food/boarding etc.).

I would just ask him to go at the next appointment available.
