Please help me in h1b stamping

I was on h4 visa and got h1 approval(i-797) in dec, 2006 without I-94. I started working and then realized that i had to first do stamping and i am going to india for stamping. Please help me in this case.

Stamping is required only in order to enter into USA.
Your h1 status and stamping both are different things.
You can get your stamping when you go to India this time..
