Hi All,
I am from Chennai and I haven't received my I797 from my employer. He has asked me to schedule my interview but I dont have my Visa expiry dates. I have a couple of question to all the seniors, please help me with your answers.
1) Can I schedule my interview in Delhi ? as I find a lot of free slots in delhi and vfs aslo support it if I am a fluent english speaker, I can schedule my interview in any of the four sites ?
2) is the default Visa expiry date for 2008 quota is sep 29 th 2010 ?

Please advice ..
Thanks,

you cannot book your visa date without your i797, please dont think that H1 expiry date is same for evryone....besides, you need to give your H1 expiry date while booking, and it is not editable...it can be any date from sep 20-30....
ofcourse...ur H1 will be valid from 1st of oct.

u say ur from chennai....once u say ur an indian from india from VFS site..resident of chennai....u wont have an option to select your embassy location...u'll have to take in chennai...selecting option is for ppl who are in US and want to get stamped in india.
