Mom coming back with in 2 months

Hi,
My Mom has 10 years visa.Firsttime (March 2007) mom&dad came together .Mom stayed until August22nd.Dad left with in 2 weeks.
Port of entrry was Newyork.At that time we were in stamford,ct.

Mom is coming back on October 13th.Now we are in Nashua,NH .She is coming to Boston.

I am wondering if there will be any problem as she is
coming within 2 months gap.If at POE the officer asks why she is coming back what should she answer?
I am thinking of writing a letter to POE officer saying that she is coming to see fall colours.I know that is not valid for 6 months stay.Any help?

frequent visit on visitor visa(B2) is not seen favorable by immigration authorities and often time the person is subject to more extensive questioning resulting less stay on I94. It also depends on case by case basis. So be prepared if the officer ask more questions and give less stay period on I94.

I agree with Murali on being prepared for extensive questioning or even secondary inspection. I'm not saying this to threaten you, may be in the future you could avoid these kind of trips.

My parents came here recently. Another friend's mother accompanied them. She was here for 6 months and coming back within a month. She was questioned at the counter and told she would have to go back. Finally she was asked to go to secondary inspection and told it would take hours to make the final decision. Her family was waiting outside clueless about what was going on and when she would come out. But luckily she came out half hour later with the I-94 valid for 3 months and strongly warned not to make any more trips like this.

It is unnecessary tension/embarrassment for our parents and for us too. They are out on their own and we feel helpless since we don't know what is going on and can't even check with anyone unless we are called in.
