Hi,
My mom's visitor visa I-94 expires on sep7th,2007. I applied for extension in first week of August to California service center. The processing dates show that it takes 3 more months for the decision but when I checked the status by the receipt number it said " a decision has been mailed to the address given on Sep26th". They already encashed the check I sent them long back. I didn't recieve any letter yet. I was worried, what if they deny the extension. how soon should she leave the country. I read in the form that she should leave with in 30 days. Can I know from which date we should take the 30 days into consideration. Is it from the date on the letter or from the date I received the denial letter? Iam so worried because my sister is due in last last week of october and I want my mom to see the baby before she leave.
Please help me. Iam very confused.
