Visitor Visa document preparation questions

Hi,

I planning to send my parents for Visitor Visa interview at chennai embassy. I have some questions in preparing the documents and the steps.


1. I prefer to send them together for the visa interview?. How many appointment I have to book for my parents 1 or 2?

2. Both are above 60, so I have to fill only DS-156 for both of them separetly. No need to fill DS-157. Am I right?

3. Should I have to take two indivudual $322 DD ( Administrative Fee ) for my father and mother?

4. Is it mandatory that I should add my birth certifiate for the visitor visa documents? Because I do not have one for now. Also I am here in USA , so I feel it will be difficult for me to get my birth certificate in Tamilnadu.

5. Also is it enough to send one set of sponser dcouments ( employent verification letter, bank statement, etc.,).

6. Can someone suggest me what is the best time to look for appoinmtnt with VFS site. I have been keep checking for appointment in Tamil language, but sofar no luck.

I would greatly appreciate if someone can reply this questions?
