Hello,
I applied for H1b visa stamping through Tokyo US embassy. But during interview, the person asked me a lot of questions on company standing and finally gave me a "Notice of Pending Visa Application" stating what all additional documents they require from my employer. When I discussed this with my employer he says that he will need some time to arrange the documents. Meanwhile my family has to shift out of Japan forever. I need my passport, H1 approval notice and all the other documents back from the embassy so that I can apply through some other country. How can I do the same ? Will the Tokyo embassy refuse to return my approval notice ?
