applying for visa

Hi,
My wife is in the US for 3 months on B1 business visa. We wish to spend the last couple of weeks of her stay at the US together. I wish to apply for visa as tourist to join my wife. I will bear all my expenses. So will I require any sponsorship letter from my wife? Or my bank statements will do?
any more suggestions will be helpful .

You will need a letter of invitation from your wife.
also a letter from your wif'e's company will be an added advantges , requesting consulate to issue a visa for you.
