I just recevied the I-485 approval notice. It is asking me to go to local UCIS office with I94, Passport and fill FORM I-89 (for greencard) and finger print.

1. Does this mean that when I go there they will stamp my passport with temparay green card?

2. Is my immigration status (non-immigrant to immigrant) changed with this apprival? Or it changes only after I get green card stamp in passport?

3. After receiving how long I can wait to go to UCIS office? What if I goto to UCIS office after a month? I am asking this because my parents have interview appointment for visitor visa in India in next month and they have my all H1B papers (forms are already submitted).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
