Unused 6 months visa: any negative effects?

Hi Murali,

Please help me in this. My Mother is planning to go for a visitor visa in September. If she gets only 6 months visa & for some reason she cannot come to US, does it create a bad impression? Will it affect her next chances of getting visa?

Also, she is working in a government service for last 32 years. Still she has some problems in understanding American English. Should she take help of Marathi Translator? Does it have any negative effects?

No, there is absolutely no effect on not being able to travel even if has a visa.
No problem , ask for the translator , and there should not be no prob.
