Success rate of cancelling and booking another

Hi, i had an unpleasant experience :o this morning (PST). Found an appointment on Sep12th and so cancelled exisitng one from Sep24th and by the time i tried it again i didnt see the Sep12th. So just thought to get every ones input on how often does any one cancel appointments and how successfull are they in getting earlier appointment dates.

Appointments keep coming up even for current and following months. Don't loose heart. Keep the applications saved and Keep checking the VFS site daily for the appointments. Sure you will get some date around you wish to go for interview.

Did you saw apptments available for English on Sep 12 ? Which consulate ? I am trying to book in Hindi at new delhi but none available although I saw times available for english (aug 18, 20, 22 ) around 10:35PST
