I am a Filipino citizen living in Tokyo. My visa was recently renewed and I was granted a 3-year residency in Japan. I have an american citizen boyfriend and we are planning to spend Christmas in America. I have been living in Japan for 2 years and I have a very stable job working at an International School and my finances are stable but I do not have a credit card issued in Japan. Will my chances of getting a US tourist visa increase if I mention that I will be travelling with my American boyfriend or will it be more complicated? Should I just mention that I will be travelling with a Japanese friend? :confused:
