visit visa for parents of only daughter

Hi,
I need some advice on the visiting visa for my parents
I'm their only daughter. I want to call them to US. My husband will be the sponser.
Please advice as how to present this case in front of VO.
They are going for interview next week in s'pore.

There is no specific rules or procedure for your kind of case.
the key is interview so prepare well for interview.

Hi Billboard,
As Murali said nothing to worry. Your parents should be bold (not to show anxiety for getting the visa) and answer the questions. Let them show they have roots in India(other than you) have properties and bank balances. If your parents are working then, they can highlight that they are going to USA to see their daughter and do some sight seeings and come back to continue their jobs.
We have our only son in USA and we went for B2 visa interview on 24th April 2005. I had prepared well for the interview courtesy Path2usa. First question was why do you want to go to USA. I said to attend the convecation of my son and do some sight seeing. Then he asked about my business details (I am self employed),my son's date of birth and if I have my son's passport copy. When I was about to show him the birth certificate and passport copy, he simply waved not to show.
THE IMPORTANT LAST QUESTION was addressed to my wife.
How many children you have mam? Without hesitation she answered that he is the only child.
He gave us 10 years ME visa. We went to USA and returned in May/June 2005We stated in the Ds156 that we want only 2 months visa.
I do hope that our experience will have some help. Let them prepare well by going through this site and you do mock interviews.
