Hi,
My parents are in India and I wanted them to visit me in the US towards the end of this year. My father went and paid the required fees at HDFC and after four days I filled out all the required information for both of them on the vfs web-site to schedule am appointment for them.
However after filling out the D-156 forms for both of them with all the correct information, I could not proceed with the confirmation to set up an appointment. I was filling out the forms at around 12:30 pm (Pacific time) and was wondering whether this could be the reason that it did not go through till the appointments step as it was late at night it India. The error it showed was " Interview appointment not currently available, please check back in 24 hours".
Please let me know whether this problem has been encountered by someone else as well.
