I am looking to purchase medical insurance for my parents who are visiting me in US from India. They are 65 yrs and 63 yrs old. I went to the website www.**.com and got a quote from company called Insuractive of $552 total for 3 months for both of them!!! The policy maximum is $,5,000,000; there is ONLY $50 deductible per occurence and no other co-insurance or out-of-pocket. Which means that if we need to go to ER for any surgery, etc, all we ever need to pay is $50 and EVERYTHING will be covered by the company.

All other quotes I have gotten from this and other sites for comprehensive coverage are for more than $1200, and for policy maximums of only $100,000.

This leads me to wonder...why hasn't anyone used this before and if there is some huge catch that I can't see? I am welcome to any comments regarding this company and insurance. Please share...or warn me!!

Hi,
I tried accessing this site, could not. Got msgs saying "bad gateway" etc. Then I tried insuractive.com. From there, clicking on Travel Insurance takes me to WorldTravelCenter.com, and plan shown is Patriot America etc. Premium is $134 per month for age 50-59, total coverage $100000. I could not find the plan you are looking at. Could you please give the exact site/path?
Thanks

For this plan, there is no direct billing to hospitals. Have to pay first and submit the paper work to get re-imbursement.
