H1-B visa transfer Clarifications: urgent, plz advise! [Archive]

Hi All,
I have some doubt over H1-B transfer and would like to seek ur help for the same urgently.

I work for a company A and my H1-B visa expired a month back. The company has applied for visa extension and I have got the receipt for the same. I expect the approval notice within 2-3 weeks.

But in these 2-3 weeks, I will be shifting from company A to company B.

1.) Will there be any issues in visa transfer/extension since visa extension has already been filed by my current employer?

2.) Any specific things that I need to take care of?

I know a friend who applied for H1 transfer when his H1 extension (within 6 years) was pending. He got the H transfer approved without issues.
Note - I am not a lawyer
