Hi All,
I have a H1B visa which is expiring in Oct 2007 and I have my new I797 extended till Oct 2009. I am planning to visit India in Aug 2007 and get my H1B stamping renewed.
I am trying to book my appoint through VFS website ( www.vfs-usa.co.in ) with option "An Indian citizen Residing in US" and Consulate "Chennai" (I belong to Chennai consulate region).
From past 3 weeks every time I check its giving message as "Interview Appointment not available, please check back after 24 hours". This was working fine 3 weeks back, am I doing something wrong??
I checked all other consulates, except Mumbai, all other consulate have same issue. Am I eligible to got Mumbai consulate. If yes, can I take my wife along with me to get new H4 stamping?
