vfs site not showing any dates

I am trying to see the available dates for visa interview in vfs site and for the past 3 days it show "no dates are available at this time, check again in 24 hours "

Has anyone come across this situation or checked visa dates in last few days ?

Hi , i am also facing the same problem. VFS site is not at all showing the dates available for the month of july or august,.

I am planning to book a slot for the month of August at Chennai Consulate.
but not able to get... ?

still trying since 3 days...

Any inputs on this ?

What I observed is that, during the initial questions the system throws up, if your answer to the question :
Are you applying for the same visa class that expired in the past 12 months? as 'yes', then it is not throwing up any dates. But, if you answer this as 'no' then it is throwing up some dates for appt.
I saw this for chennai consulate. Did somebody else also observe the same?

Yes, it is probabbly because they want to probbaly give preference to Visa applicant of 2008 quota.

If in your city vfs office is there you can visit them and check with them so that they can book dates for you .

So far visa dates are not being displayed for most other categories because most of the dates are being alloted to students. Pls. check continuously for dates on the website.

It is showing the dates for Chennai for last 2 days without any problem , I see 2-3 dates for July and dates for August open
