Hi,
I am currently working with the IT consulting company and currently on the project for more than 7 months with them. My billing rate is on Percentage basis. They are paying for Medical Insurance, however, the owner mentioned that the company dont pay when we get our pay on % basis.
I have heard that by DOL rule, the company HAS TO pay for few national holidays (5-6 in a year), otherwise it becomes ill-legal.
Can someone please let me know about this? My owner is telling there is no such rule like that and whatever you want to do, do it. Can someone please let me know, where to complain to DOL about this or which DOL link, I can show to them to make them convinced?
