Hi,
I'm currently working for company A and my H1 is expiring in August. I've filed for H1 transfer to company B , which has slso filed for my extension but I am yet to recieve any recipt. My questions are,
1. Can the Employer A hold my H1 extension, after learning about my transfer?
2. If I don't recive my reciept even after the expiry of my visa, would I still be in status?
3.I've also applied for H4 extension for my wife who is planning to visit India in september. Can she travel even if I have not recived the reciept yet and can she return safely too?
4.If incase my H1 transfer and extension are approved while she's in India, should we both get it stamped and only then come back?
Pls guide me...I'm utterly confused.
