H1 Transfer

Hi All

My name is Preethi. I am working for Satyam Computers Ltd as SQL DBA. I came to Chicago in 2005 on L1. In 2006 I got my H1. I havent got my H1 stamped yet. I took 6 months (3 months paid leave) maternity leave last year i.e from 1st August 2006 to 31st January 2007. My husband had to move to California in January, so I joined him to California. My company (Satyam) couldnt find a suitable job for me in California. I have extended my maternity leave untill end of next month. I now lost all hopes.

I have to get my H1 transfered such that I can support my family, but I dont have pay stubs with me from 1st November 2006. Is there anyway I could get my H1 transfered?

Any answers are highly appreciated.

Since you are on official maternity leave, I believe you don't need to provide latest paystubs. Apply for transfer with the recent one's that you have.
