Information regarding Stamping Consulate

Hi Murli/Simran,

I need one help, I am working in Bangalore for alomost 4 yrs now. This year i applied for H1 and got my approval some few weeks back.

Now my POE/Consulate for stamping mentioned in the I-129 is Chennai. Can i go to DELHI for stamping. Will it cause any issues in getting my Visa.

Also i asked my Attorney of my employer she said there is no issue on getting the appointment at DELHI Consulate also.

As earlier i have received the B1 and L1 from the DELHI consulate and also I am a permanent Resident of UP but working in Bangalore can i go to DELHI consulate for stamping.

Kindly pls advice how to go abt this.

Hi, since you are working in Bangalore for past 4 years, you can only apply either in Chennai or Delhi.

When you book your appointment, fillin your correct current residence state, and it might give you multiple options, i.e. Delhi, Chennai. You can choose either one of them.

My question is will it cause any issues in going to delhi since my I-129 it is mentioned the POE/consulate as Chennai, will it cause any issue if i go to DELHI for my stamping.
