Got Visa now when to travel?

Hi guys,
my parents just got their visitors visa from Kolkata.
now I want to know when can they travel.. it is ok to travel after few weeks or months? Is there any rule or something?
(I know we can travel right away after getting a visa I travelled after 4 days )
