Indian Passport - Visitor Visa

Hi,

My parents got their passports recently, they found a difference between my father passport and mother passport, there is an Imigration related stamp in my mother's passport and the same is not there in other passport, my father age is 57, is that stamp required, can anyone help me with the info.

I'm planning for their visa next month, will the passport be a problem.

That stamp will be either ECR (Emigration Check Required) or ECNR (Emigration Check Not Required). In any case, it will not affect trip to US. Its only required for certain countries (like Australia etc.)
