My parents got visitor visa in January this year for 1 year and are currently visiting me.So, I wanted to know when can they apply for visitor visa again. Is it a good idea to apply immediately after the 1 year visa expires or do they need to apply after a gap of like 4-6 months.
Also, I wanted to know the chances of my parents getting 10 year multiple entry visa next time. Can someone suggest me.

If they can wait for 4-6 months after expiry, that may be better. Chances to get a multiple entry 10 year would ber higher as they would have proved that they do come back before expiry.

My parents received a one year visa in Jan 2004. But, they couldn't travel due to health reasons in that one year. Last week (June 2007) they applied again and were issued a 10 years Multiple entry visa without any hassles. I think once someone gets a one year visa, getting another visa is trivial and usually the next visa is for 10 years. I would still suggest giving a 6 months break after the first visa expiration. Thanks so much for your suggestions. I'll apply agian for their visa after 4-6 months of their visa expiry next year.
