With 10 years visa, is there any time frame to start the first trip to usa

Hi,

My friend says that even if we have a 10 year visitors visa, it is a must that we take our first trip within 90 days of issue of the visa. If not, there may be some questions at the port of entry.

Did any one have such experiences. Is there any time frame within which we must make our trip?

No, it may be used anytime before the 10 yr duration expires.

There may be questions at PoE just becuse the officer is curious about the lag (if it is many years). However, these are going to be no more than routine questions and entry would not be denied just because of the fact that they didn't use the VISA rightaway.
