SCARY: Parents got one month in i-94

My parents came today & got i-94 for only one month!, Also I've noticed that, whoever frequent visitors i.e. if some one visit in less than 6 months, they were pulled to side for more screening and they were given only one month i-94 validity.

Please aware of this.

Now, I would like to extend their visas at least for 2 more months, If any one have sample request forms please feel free to email me.. I appreciate your help.. email id: longerstay@gmail.com

That's not good. Please keep us posted on how the extension request goes. Probably, now they are trying to deter the folks that try to remain in US on visitor VISA for almost 10 years by making short trips to Mexico or Canada every 6 months.

How often were they visiting the US on the visitor visa? Did you extend by filing an extension during their last visit and how much time elapsed between leaving the US and returning?

My parents left Dec 2006, and came Jun 2007, the gap is 5 months 12 days.. I think that caused the red flag..

I never extended their visas before..they came twice though.

This time I'm extending their visas.. if some one have the Format, please let me know, I can fill the content.. I just need top and bottom portion of the request.. ( I mean how to start, whom to address..how to conclude) in nicer way.
