Hello All,

I am so happy to share this news that my MOM got VISA in Chennai for 10 yrs M entry. Interview date was June 8th. Interview was in Kannada and it went pretty smooth. Interestingly VO did not ask for any documents except the forms.

I really appreciate for all the information and guidance provided by this website and to all those people who contributed to this forums.

VO asked below listed few questions:

Q. Hello
A. Namaskara

Q. What do you do ?
A. I am Government Employee

Q. Who works in US ?
A. My son

Q. Why is your husband not going with you ?
A. due to health reasons, have the doctor proof.

Q. Who else is here in India ?
A. My younger son

Q. What does he do ?
A. He works in B'lore in so and so company

Q. How many months you want to go ?
A. 2 to 3 months.

This question asked again..

And thats it, you got the VISA :)

Hi,
when did you apply for interview for your mother?
How did you manage to get the kanadda translator.
When i go to the visa-usa-co.in site and select any non english language it says no dates available. this I am noticing since past 2 weeks. IS there any particular time slot when the non english thing works?

Even me too facing the same problem...

Yes, only in particular time it will show the Kannada slots especially in our evening hours (PST time). Keep watching you will find one. We did this for about 1 month :)

Thx. Is it Ok to check every one hr? i mean at 9 after that 10....or in between also will it be opened? (say from 9.15 to 9.45)

hi, i have taken my mom's visa date and it has been just 15 Days since i have been in USA. Although i have been here in 2005 for a duration of one year. Any guidance for the same will be welcomed.
