Uses of upgrade of H1 from Bachelros to Masters

Hello Everyone,

First of all I would like to thank everyone for helping me back in Oct 2006. I am completely settled here in Texas. I had got lot of information from the replies and the posts on this forum.

I had one question. I am here on H1 visa processed showing my Bachelors Education. I have 18 years of education. What difference will it make if I want to upgrade my education. I have heard it increases the basic salary range here. Is there any other use and is there any way I can do that? Will it require to process my H1 again?

You can always gain higher education - It may help you get a better salary - current h1 need not be amended to show higher salary - if u transfer h1 it can be for same or different type of job
