Just a couple of days back, there was an article in The Times Of India, that the US visas have once again got tougher. I have been seeing in last one year at least that a lots of my friends and relatives have got a tourist visa, which I don't know was the case before. And I have myself heard lot of people saying - "US visas have got easier".
The article in TOI said that the visas were never easier and aren't easier even now. In fact, there had some scandal happened as a result of which there were some 60% rejections in Delhi last month.
So here is the question - does anyone know the recent trend at Mumbai consulate? Mine is a very genuine case - I have a business visa and I plan to travel for a month & half to the US. I have my wife's interview tomorrow (May 14th) for a tourist visa and even she is working in India. I plan to take her with me for tourism (& she will be traveling only for a couple of weeks as she has to return back to work). I just wanted to check if there are any out of the blues question asked and be prepared for the same.
I had earlier checked with Murli and have all the valid documents including a leave & vacation certificate from my wife's company, an invitation letter from my company & all the finance documents.
