Parents visa with H1-B receipt

Hi Murali,

I would like my parents to come over at the earliest as my wife is expecting.
I only have my H1 -B transfer receipt. The consulate have got back asking more details about my company. I had anyhow booked an appointment for their interview. They have their interview next week.

Is is advisable to ask my parents to attend the interview when I only have the transfer receipt ? Are there any similar success/failure cases earlier ?

If you only have H1 transfer receipt, make sure you send additional documentation - like your previous H1B copy, current employment verification letter, pay statements, etc.
