Hi all,I am planning to extend my mothers B-2 visa(visitor for pleasure) due to some emergency family situation.she has got valid stay till june 15,2007.I am planning to apply 30 days before I-94 expiry.I need clarifications for the following:
1.In the visa extension notes, as stated here (http://www.path2usa.com/immigration/visitorvisa/ext_visitor_visa.htm) documents required include "Copy of I94 of each applicant. ( Do not send the Original I94)".but when i downloaded new I-539 form,it states that the original i-94 should be submitted.
what happens if i don't get receipt notice before actual i-94 expiry?
2.Is there any minimum duration within which the applicant should leave the country in case if the extension is denied so as to avoid visa cancellation.We should be able to get atleast a weeks time to arrange for the tickets,I guess.
3.the new form states that the application shold be submitted to either CSC or VSC,will it be rerouted to TSC in my case for the action? which processing dates we should look on to, VSC or TSC?
